We all have executed thousands of projects consciously or unconsciously in our daily life, in profession and every activity that we have planned, executed and reviewed.
What is a project?
A project is essentially a set of activities that has a defined purpose, is temporary in nature with a start and end date/time associated with the activities and requires resource for its completion. The resource could be human, mechanical, machinery or anything required to deliver the project. A project must have following feature.

Project Management
Project Management concepts have evolved over a period of time. The Project Management Institute abbreviated as PMI is an International, Non-Profit, group of Volunteers is associated with researching and propagating Project Management (PM) best practices.

- Sponsor –
- Someone having Business Need/Pain, power, Authority,
- Budget
- Will to Succeed – Sponsor must have willed to succeed in project.
- Approval
- Other Factor include – Special Tools/Equipments, Knowledge, Team, Technical Skills
